What the site offers
Articles, study notes, practice questions, audit tools and downloadable financial reporting templates. Some material is free. Some is sold or reserved for members.
Educational use only
Everything here is general educational material on IFRS and auditing. It is not accounting, audit, tax, legal or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for professional judgement or for reading the standards themselves. Do not rely on it for a specific transaction, entity or engagement. I accept no liability for any loss arising from its use.
Accuracy and availability
I take care to keep the material current, but standards change and errors happen. The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and I do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Templates and downloads
Templates are working files meant to be reviewed, adapted and tested before use. You may use them in your own work and on client engagements. You may not resell them, redistribute them, publish them in whole or in part, or present them as your own product.
Payment and refunds
Prices are shown in euro. Payment is handled by Wix and its payment providers, and I never see your card details. Because a download is delivered immediately, the right to withdraw ends once the download has started. If a file is faulty or is not what was described, tell me within fourteen days and I will fix it or refund it.
Member accounts
Keep your login details to yourself and tell me if you think someone else is using them. I may suspend an account used to share paid material.
Intellectual property
The text, notes, questions, tools and templates on this site are mine unless stated otherwise. You may quote a short extract with attribution and a link. You may not copy substantial parts of the site, use the material to train models, or republish it elsewhere without my permission.
What you send me
If you send a question through the Suggest a question form, you allow me to answer it publicly on the site in anonymised form. Please do not send confidential client information.
Links to other sites
Some pages link out. I am not responsible for the content of sites I do not run.
Changes to these terms
I will update this page when the terms change, and I will change the date at the top when I do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
