About this course
Complete study notes for ACCA Financial Reporting (FR), written by a practising audit manager and financial reporting lecturer and aligned to the September 2026 to June 2027 syllabus, including IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements. The course runs through 37 chapters in syllabus order, from the Conceptual Framework and the regulatory framework, through every IFRS Accounting Standard examined in FR, to the analysis and interpretation of financial statements and the preparation of single entity and consolidated financial statements. Each chapter explains the rules and the reasons behind them, works through numerical examples step by step, and uses diagrams, tables and real company cases to show how the standards are applied in practice. Every chapter closes with a quiz that gives feedback on each answer, followed by written questions in the style of Sections B and C of the exam with full suggested answers and workings. In total there are 288 lessons, 366 quiz questions and 86 written questions. Work through a chapter, try its quiz, then attempt the written questions before reading the answers. The final chapter covers the computer-based exam and how to approach the two 20-mark questions. When you have finished, move on to the Financial Reporting free mock exam.
