About this course
A full mock exam for the Accounting Fundamentals course, in two papers that mirror a typical first-year accounting assessment. Paper 1 is a two-hour multiple choice test of 40 questions covering all 15 chapters, set up as an interactive quiz that marks itself. Paper 2 is a three-hour written examination worth 100 marks: Section A is a compulsory 50-mark question on preparing the statement of profit or loss and statement of financial position of a sole trader from a trial balance with year-end adjustments, and Section B has three 25-mark questions, of which you answer two. When you have finished, you will find an explanation for every multiple choice answer, and a full suggested solution and marking guide with examiner's commentary for every written question, so you can mark your own script. Written by a Big Four senior audit manager and accounting lecturer (FCCA, ACA, CIA).
